Established as an R&D company about 30 years ago, Bozankaya has earned over EUR 100 million in revenue from the sales of products developed through R&D between 2012 and 2017. 10% of the revenues obtained as a result of R&D projects are export revenues, and the entire 90% is import substitution. Our recorded R&D Expense/Sales ratio in 2016 was 11%, and in 2015-2016, it was 7.4% per year on average. While this rate is around 1.0% in our country, it is 2.4% on average in OECD countries. The R&D budget between 2012 and 2017 is approximately 25 million EUR. In addition to 10 R&D projects completed during this period, there are 6 ongoing projects and 8 projects in the evaluation phase

As a strong reflection of research, science and innovation, Bozankaya carries out studies that make a difference in the sector with its R&D infrastructure. Establishing the R&D Center with a team of 70 R&D engineers in 2015, Bozankaya offers exclusive service to its domestic and foreign customers with its innovative products. Anticipating that the big steps for the future will belong to young individuals, Bozankaya attaches importance to university-industry cooperation and carries out joint projects with young minds led by experienced academics. In recent years, project studies have been carried out with nearly 20 academicians from 10 universities.
