Next generation Sileo Transist showcased in 2017

Bozankaya exhibited its new generation 10.7 meter and 25 meter electric buses at Transist International Istanbul Transportation Congress and Fair on November 2-4, 2017.

Produced by Bozankaya, the new generation Sileo buses, which stand out with their environmentally friendly, quiet, efficient and zero emission features, have 100% electric models with 10, 12, 18 and 25 meters in length. New Sileo, which can cover a distance of 400 km in a 4-hour charge, can dynamically charge the battery of the vehicle by converting brake energy into electrical energy with its regenerative energy. The use of an electric motor on the axle instead of the internal combustion engine creates a large and spacious interior, while the passenger carrying capacity of the vehicle can be increased from 75 to 232 people according to different lengths.

The design of the new generation Sileo, in which different materials are used in the vehicle skeleton without increasing its weight compared to the first generation vehicle, now has more modern lines. Aiming to be the new means of transportation for modern cities, all R&D developments of New Sileo were carried out in Bozankaya R&D Center with 100% domestic capital and the work of Turkish engineers. With its 100% low floor that provides fast passenger loading and unloading, New Sileo will help create environmentally friendly zones with zero emissions in urban transportation. The new generation Sileo can recycle up to 75% of the brake energy, thus greatly increasing the driving distance. The traction motor, acting as a generator, converts braking energy into electrical energy and dynamically charges the battery while driving. Considering all road conditions, the New Sileo consumes an average of 0.8 kWh/km. New Sileo, which does not have any disturbing engine noise during the journey, also adapts to modern city life with this form.
